We are traveling from the U.S. to Ireland, from Ireland to the U.K. and from the U.K. to Spain. In this video, I´ll break down what we need for each country to comply with COVID regulations.
In General
Look at your country´s government website and your destination country´s government website.
US to Ireland:
According to the March 6th update on the U.S. embassy´s website, all COVI-19 travel restrictions are removed. U.S. citizens do not have to show a negative PCR test, whether they are vaccinated or not. You no longer need to complete a passenger locator form, or show proof of vaccination or recovery, or a COVID-19 test.

Northern Ireland to Scotland
Scotland’s travel rules for people arriving from abroad ended at 4am on Friday 18 March. If you’re arriving in Scotland after this time, you do not need to:
complete a Passenger Locator Form
take any COVID-19 tests before you leave for Scotland, or after you arrive
isolate when you arrive

Travel from Ireland to Britain
Travellers transiting from overseas to Northern Ireland via Ireland ports or airports still need to comply with UK travel requirements. This includes completing a UK Passenger Locator Form.
Under existing British regulations, passengers arriving into Great Britain from Ireland, are not required to complete a passenger locator form, self-isolate, or undergo testing, if they have not been outside of the Common Travel Area in the previous 10 days. The Common Travel Area includes Ireland, the UK, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Scotland to England
You do not need to complete a UK passenger locator form before you travel, take any COVID-19 tests or quarantine when you arrive in England. This applies whether you are vaccinated or not

England to Spain
If you are traveling to Spain for tourism you must show valid proof of one of the following:
being fully vaccinated (with both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a one-dose vaccine) at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain (date(s) of vaccination must be specified). See ‘If you’re fully vaccinated’.
having recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months. You can also use a medical certificate or recovery record to prove your COVID-19 status on entry to Spain. See ‘If you’ve had COVID-19 in the past year’.
Travellers from the UK who can either show proof of being fully vaccinated, or of having recovered from prior COVID-19 infection in the last 6 months, or who are aged under 12 years old, do not need to complete Spain’s Travel Health Control form. Everyone else must complete Spain’s Travel Health Control form no more than 48 hours before travel to Spain. See Spain’s Ministry of Health travel pages for more detail.
Extra
Following changes to EU rules from 1 February 2022:
vaccine certificates for primary vaccination series are not accepted for travel if more than 270 days have passed since the final dose in the primary vaccine series. Persons travelling with only a vaccination certificate showing their primary series must ensure that it is still in the acceptable date range vaccine certificates based on booster/additional doses are not time limited and persons travelling with this additional document are not subject to the 270 day acceptance period
