Is travel safe after getting just the first dose of vaccine? Both Pfzier – BioNtech and Moderna vaccines require two doses. An infectious disease expert at Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security told that the first dose will provide some protection, which means you’re less likely to get sick if you’re exposed to the virus. But it is important to still avoid crowded indoor spaces.
Spain has lifted travel restrictions on the UK from March 30th. This ban was introduced 3 months ago to control the spread of the virus.
Germany has issued a strict lockdown for Easter but what does it mean for travellers? Here are the dos and don’ts. Travel within Germany is possible but all hotels, holiday homes, restaurants and cafes will remain closed. Visiting relatives is possible but only a maximum of 5 people belonging to 2 households.
In the UK, people attempting to go on vacation while travel restrictions are still in place could face a $7,000 fine under new government legislation.
